Jordan Danielsen

A native of Denver Colorado but raised in the Iowa heartland on the banks of the Muddy Mississippi, Jordan Danielsen grew up with guitar in hand and a harmonica on his neck. He has spent the last 20 years hosting open mics, performing in wineries, casino's, pubs, restaurants, festivals and everywhere imaginable from Madison, WI. to St. Louis, MO.

A wandering loner at heart, Jordan has spent much of his musical career as a solo act. He plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, kick and hi-hat at his solo shows. He has also played with some of the finest musicians in the Midwest to create two full length albums, 8 singles, and done a bit of touring as well. Jordan plays in a duo with midwest favorite Jef Spradley, and with a trio featuring Levi Craft on Electric Guitar, and Don Gustofson on bass.

In 2011, Jordan released his debut CD Night Alone in the City; an album very diverse from start to finish. Chalked full of soulful horns, electric guitars, acoustic ballads, blues and a tiny bit of hip hop. Jordan's lyrics tell the story of his life growing up in Davenport, IA., and at times borders on the hilarious.

2014 brought the release of Old Soul, an album much different than it's predecessor. Jordan spins his musical tales of river's, roadtrips, and great grandfathers in the civil war. Sleek piano, organ moans, and haunting fiddle make this collection of songs very soothing yet exciting, and tend to take you along for the ride.

In 2021, Jordan headed down to Nashville and recorded a string of new material and released the singles Bumble BeeHalf Moon BayThe Bottle By My Bed, and Nail Gun with producer PT Houston at Off The Row Studios.

In 2022, Jordan released 3 more singles The In-BetweenThe Taco Bar, and Going Out With The Boys in various studios throughout the Midwest.

In 2023, Jordan ran a successful crowd funding campaign with Plaid Dog Studios in Boston, MA., and raised $10,000 to record 5 new tunes. He released Running Wild (The Bix Song) on November 17th, and is in production with the remaining 4 songs scheduled to drop in 2024. These new tunes will be with a full horn section and standup bass.

Also in 2023, Jordan began hosting The Indie Show on Slick Willy Radio, showcasing the talents of his friends in The Quad Cities and other Indie artists around the globe.
